HMC on the move

As of September 2005 the company has once again taken another leap in its growth cycle with the acquisition of the Huntingdale Mobile Cranes by its new owners. Each partner brings a wealth of experience in the Crane Hire Industry. Keith Kelton, who began his career in the crane industry with Clarke Cranes some 20 years ago and Ron Atkins, who also has some 30 years of experience in heavy equipment and mobile cranes.

James Cranes acquisition

In February 2006 another milestone occurred in the expansion of Huntingdale Mobile Cranes with the acquisition of James Cranes "wet hire" divisions in Altona and the Notting Hill branch operations. This effectively, in a short period of time, has over doubled the size of the company and also aligned it with prime supply contracts with corporate 'Blue Chip' companies. HMC have continued to maintain a "Branch" in Sunshine to service the longstanding Western Suburb Client base.

Onwards we grow

Huntingdale Cranes specializes in Mobile Cranes from MAEDA 2.5t to the acquisition of the LIEBHERR LTM1300-1 300t unit, and now also Tele Handler’s supplement our General Plant and Equipment hire. HMC Group offers a complete range of products and services in addition to it’s ever growing fleet of Mobile Cranes and Tele Handlers in Wet Hire and Dry Hire applications.

DRY HIRE has become a growth area for the business with a fleet of over 20 FRANNA Cranes as well as ROUGH TERRAIN Cranes from 20t through to 50t capacities. The organization is managed by a team of staff with many years of substantial experience in the construction, maintenance and hire industries. SALES of Used Mobile Cranes has become another area of activity for the HMC Group. With acquisition of additional plant and or new replacement plant, HMC Sales & Service has become a key performer within the group offering the ever developing client base alternatives to Rental through Sales. The same policy applies in this area, 'we pride ourselves in supplying quality with value' in each and every item we sell whether it is ex rental or imported stock for sale.
